What is Fire Safety?

Our fire safety course examines fire prevention strategies by reviewing the common causes of fire and the nature of fire. By providing candidates with an understanding of fire, we help them appreciate what they can do as individuals and as a team to reduce the risk from fire.

The course provides candidates with the information they need in order to fulfil their responsibilities in the case of discovering a fire or of a fire alarm sounding. It covers the specific procedures involved in the safe evacuation of your workplace and ensuring that all customers, employees and visitors are accounted for.

Our courses are premises specific and reflect your workplace Fire Risk Assessment and the exact nature of each individual's responsibility in the case of fire.

For more details please see Fire Safety Course Overview page.

Who should attend this course?

The course is designed for all employees in the workplace. Our approach to fire safety is inclusive and promotes the view of safety in numbers; the more members of your team who are aware of fire safety measures, the safer your workplace.

Much of our course examines the causes of fire and fire prevention; your fire risk assessment should identify the need to ensure all staff are trained in fire safety, therefore implementing constructive measures to reduce the risk of fire throughout your organisation.
