Workplace Violence affects many employees in the UK, the levels of aggression and violence vary from profession to profession, but the consequences are always the same; stress, lack of productivity, increased employee absenteeism, high staff turnover and in the worst cases injury related litigation.

In the year 2004-05 alone some 849,000 (source: Health & Safety Executive) assaults occurred in the workplace in England & Wales

Everyone working in the licensed retail sector (pubs, night clubs, hotels, restaurants, sports and social clubs, supermarkets, off-licenses etc) in the UK has a responsibility to promote the licensing objectives set out in the Licensing Act 2003 and to Retail Alcohol Responsibly.
Employees with the specific responsibility of authorising the sale of alcohol, are required to hold a personal license. To apply for a personal license individuals are required to achieve the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH).
However without exception everyone working in the licensed retail sector requires some level of training and we can assist you at every level.
We use only experienced and accredited trainers to deliver all our courses, including the portfolio of BIIAB courses.
