Covid-19 Course Bookings T&Cs

Due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic we have had to stop delivering face to face training for now, but we are ready to restart as soon as we are permitted and as soon as it is safe to do so. I would like to take this opportunity to explain the special measures we have in place to protect your booking, during this period of uncertainty.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected many businesses and like so many especially in the licensed hospitality sector, we lost most of our business overnight. We decided early on that running courses, where people might be expected to use public transport and spend the day in a room with strangers, was not sensible.

At the time we forecast that at the very earliest, we might be in a position to run courses again in June 2020; at the time of writing we still hope this to be possible.

However we appreciate that this is a unique time and predicting anything is virtually impossible, but you still have to have a plan for when the ‘lockdown’ is lifted and we all start to get back to work. We have therefore thought about this and are drawing up plans for how we can reopen while protecting those who attend our courses. We will publish more details on these plans once they have been formally drawn up.

There will come a day when we are ready and it is safe to start face to face training again and I would like to share with you the changes we have initiated so that clients wishing to book training can do so without concern.

Changes to Terms & Conditions

Our customers can be reassured that any booking made during this unprecedented time continues to be made under our terms and conditions, which protect our customers as well as our business.

We will however waive some of our usual terms and conditions and replace them with customer guarantees, these changes apply while Covid-19 restrictions remain in place:

Refund Guarantee

Any course booked will be fully refundable, no questions asked. Once you have booked and paid for a course, if you are unable to attend or even if you choose not to attend, we will refund 100% of the fees you have paid; providing you give us 24 hours’ notice, in advance of the course date you booked.

All we expect from you, is to return the course workbook we send out to everyone who books a course.

Course Date Flexibility

If you are unable or uncomfortable attending on the course date you originally booked, we will change it to the next available date of your choice without any additional fee being incurred; providing you give us 24 hours’ notice, in advance of the course date you booked.

Cancelled Courses

If we are unable to deliver a course we had scheduled, due to changes to the government restrictions, the need for our trainers to self-isolate, trainers being ill or because a change to our own regularly reviewed Risk Assessment status, we will notify you and automatically book you in for the next available date. With our ‘Refund Guarantee’ and ‘Course Date Flexibility’ policy you could then decide if you need to move to a more convenient date and you retain the right to a full refund.

Why book a Personal Licence Course Now?

Many of our clients have a little more time on their hands than usual, when you book a Personal Licence Course with us, we send you the course workbook in advance of the course. Under normal circumstances, learners often find it difficult to find the time to read through it. Despite this, we still have a very high pass rate; however if you have more time to read the workbook it increases the chance of achieving a higher score in your exam.

If you book a course now we can still send the workbook out to you within 24 hours of the booking, this gives you plenty of time to read through the book before you come on the course.
